The Mozartists

Harrow Music is delighted to be working with The Mozartists in bringing their outstanding workshops to both primary and secondary schools in Harrow, These include the Mozart 250 Project, taster sessions for primary schools, SEN projects and a 'Singing and Stagecraft' workshop for secondary schools. With generous funding from John Lyon Charity, this is helping to bring opera and the music of Mozart to children across the borough.
Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment

Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment

We are a ‘period instrument’ orchestra formed in 1986 specialising in music composed between the 17th and 19th Centuries (and occasionally beyond) – by composers such as Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and many, many others. We play on instruments – or replicas of instruments – from the time the music we play was written. Our sound is rooted in research and experiments to discover how these instruments were played. The result is a vivid contrast with the sounds of a ‘modern’ symphony orchestra that highlights the ongoing developments of musical language.

Harrow Music Service is delighted to have partnered with the OAE on a variety of projects including a recorder project, GCSE composition workshops and a special performance introducing the orchestra.
