Harrow Music currently works with 47 schools in Harrow to provide music education across the borough. This includes whole class music provision, weekly creative music provision in three special schools and small group instrumental teaching.
Represent Music Network and Harrow Music Service presents a
special live event to celebrate Black History Month and the massive artistic
contribution made by Black musicians. Performers include primary and secondary
schools in Harrow, Harrow Music Service’s ensembles (strings, brass and the
Improvisation Group), and a specially assembled band for two final pieces. The
concert will include rap, pop, jazz, fusion, soul and afrobeat and the
Improvisation Group will be performing original compositions by members of the
group, strongly influenced by their study of jazz and blues. Tickets are priced at £7.50 for adults and
£2.50 for under 16s. There is no limit on the number of tickets per
transaction, please book as many as you would like.
