Welcome

News for Spring and Summer Term 2025

We have recently all enjoyed a hugely successful Guitar Festival, bringing together acoustic and electric guitar players from both primary and secondary schools across the borough. School Choir Showcase in early March also had the highest level of pupil participation yet, with over 250 children taking part on each of the three nights. Our annual String Festival has also been a huge success, bringing a large number of primary and secondary schools together to play a range of repertoire incorporating classical, folk and pop music, and also shining a spotlight on our Junior and Senior String Ensembles

In the summer term, we are working on two very exciting and unique events:

On 10th July, our Ensembles Concert will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the London Borough of Harrow, featuring specially commissioned works from members of the community and a very special composition from Max von Motz, a Year 13 pupil at Nower Hill Secondary School. This will also be a rare opportunity for all our ensembles to perform together as one!

On 14th July, our annual Recorder Festival moves from Glebe Primary School to the Elliott Hall in Harrow Arts Centre, and will be presented in collaboration with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, showcasing baroque music and dance.
